At Rebuilding Together El Paso, we believe every person deserves a safe home. This month, WestStar Bank demonstrated outstanding community spirit by raising $1,500 through their Jeans Day fundraiser, allowing us to install grab bars for 15 individuals across El Paso. These safety upgrades will directly support elderly residents, people with disabilities, low-income families, and veterans who face daily risks in their bathrooms.
Falls are a serious concern — 1 in 4 adults over 65 falls each year, and 80% of those falls occur in the bathroom. Grab bars can reduce fall risk by up to 60%, making WestStar Bank’s support truly life-changing.
